Global Warming

It's 9:30 PM.

It's 31 freaking degrees out.

I live in Canada.

I tell this story a lot, mostly because my parents repeat it to me every single summer. When my parents first moved the family to Canada, everybody warned them about how cold it would get in the winters compared to what they were used to.

"But nobody," they tell me, with the most aghast looks on their faces, "nobody ever warned us how hot it gets here."

On the plus side I get to mock my UK friends pretty much all year 'round.
