Pretty stark. Have you heard of any jobs relevant to a legacy
type sysadmin in Toronto. Our company is moving yet again in
June/July and i am fed up with the 2-3 months of chaos that follows
their periodic moves.

The court's ruling is not the big issue it might seem to be, but that the law passed at all *is*.

My take on this is, if the lower court tried to say that it was unconstitutional, the question would be raised on whether or not they had jurisdiction to make that ruling. They may not; Congress is allowed to set jurisdiction for the lower courts. This would be a totally separate issue, requiring a separate ruling.

So, by saying "we have been stripped of jurisdiction", they've created a situation in which the law will probably be reviewed by the Supreme Court sooner than it would be otherwise.

But, yeah, I'm furious that this law is on the books, that it was passed by Congress in the so-called "land of the free and home of the brave".

Good to see...
...that the Canadian judiciary doesn't have their heads up their bum!
