In Which Our Heroine Gets All Chop-Socky

I finally made it back to Isshin-Ryu class at lunchtime today. It was the first that I'd been able to since spraining my ankle during an orienteering meet and then running into the current craziness at work. And wow, did it feel good....

I think I may have found a candidate for a potential "real school" at which to train: there's a Kuk Sool Won school in Webster that looks like it's worth investigating. If they really are as traditional as they claim, I could be all set. We'll see.

No David Sedaris for me, sadly -- too much work to do. :-(
