Yeowch.

What a terrible day to be a sports fan -- the Browns beat the Steelers, and the U.S. and Canada both lost.

Oh well, at least the possibility of a Cubs-Red Sox Series is still alive....

more to the point, why are you not rooting for the browns? art modell has nothing to do with them so it can't be that.

I grew up in Western Pennsylvania in the 1970s, during the Steel Curtain era. Of course I'm a Steelers fan... and hating the Browns is a part of that. My nod to Cleveland is rooting for the Indians, though the fact that I'll have regular access to Skydome next season is making me think hard about the Jays.

I don't know...the Browns beating the Steelers is a pretty good thing in my book. On the other hand, the Red Sox still being alive totally sucks. This is one of the rare occasions when you'll see me pulling for the YankMes. Guess we need a recreation of the 1933 (or was it '32?) Series...the one where Ruth "called his shot". *gags at the thought of having to root for the YankMes*

On the other hand, the pucks have dropped. Baseball? What's that??? ;)
