The operative concept here is "closure"

Please, tell me that I'm not foolhardy enough to try using Eclipse as my guinea pig. Someone?

As someone who was nearby the last time you decided to joust with windmills, may I remind you that the object of a thesis is to FINISH??

'nuff said.

Re: Sweetie?
Uhm, sure, I guess. It's a long way north for me and I am much more rooted now. What ever I do has to take into account the Z-boy and naps and toodler food and such. Might be easier to take a trip to Delaware, and stay in the beach house, and go out with my uncle on his Grand Banks.

Or he might freak, or send you off in a huff, being a rather conservative and stodgy old man. He cried when he found out I was not a Republican. Reagan is his hero. He uses "nigger" recreationally in sentences, and while I don't recall hearing him disparage "faggots" I'm virtually certain that he is also predjudiced that way, and any other way you could imagine. He's approaching a century old and rather stuck in his pre-WWII upbringing.

If you can get past that, and he can get past that, he's a fascinating person, though. He has so many stories, and can really spin a good tale. And you share a love of boats. And you could see my childhood home.

If you use Eclipse, then you'll be able to leverage your work into half a dozen paid articles while you're writing and a book afterwards.

It seems to be the popular IDE these days.
