No. A braindead toad would not be better than Bush, for example. But someone who, though he will not see the issue as clearly as we might like, at least will see *part* of the issue is certainly better than Bush, who will pay lip service to tolerance and protection while screwing us all.

I wish it were possible to vote one's conscience, but since we have a plurality-based voting system, it isn't. It's pretty much a mathematical fact that in a plurality-based voting system, a vote for any unpopular candidate is equivalent to no vote at all.

...for the simple reason that if A == B, then it's not true that A > B.
